Doug & Stacy: 17 Years Off-Grid, and the Grit It Really Takes To Make It

Doug and Stacy are known as the original off-grid homesteaders on YouTube. They've been living off-grid for 17 years, built their channel to 1.3 million subscribers, and given away years of hard-won know-how for free along the way.

They sold their 3,000-square-foot house, moved into a one-bedroom apartment to learn to live small, bought land with cash, and Doug lived in a tent while he built a log cabin by hand before winter hit.
